JobTread + Pipeline CRM Integration
Win the deal in Pipeline CRM, and the JobTread job is already set up. Automatically.
Your sales pipeline lives in Pipeline CRM. Estimating and production run in JobTread. This managed connection creates the JobTread client and job for you when a deal is won, and updates the Pipeline CRM deal as the job moves through production, so nobody re-keys a won customer into JobTread to get the work started. No CSV exports. No brittle Zapier zap. No double entry.

Mark the deal won in Pipeline CRM and a JobTread job is created from it, ready for production, with the source kept clean.
When the job status changes in JobTread, the linked Pipeline CRM deal is updated so sales sees production progress.

The won-job handoff, by hand or on its own
Most JobTread shops know this grind: you win the deal in the CRM, then someone re-keys the customer into JobTread and sets up the job before production can start. Here is the busywork this connection deletes.
Doing it by hand
Every won deal, every time
- Win the deal in Pipeline CRM
- Re-type the customer into JobTread as a new client
- Copy the contact details and project address across
- Create the job in JobTread and set it up for production
- Keep checking JobTread and update the deal as the job moves stage
~20 minutes · duplicate customers · stale deal stages
With Pipeline Connect
You win the deal. The rest is already done
- Client created in JobTread the moment the lead is added in Pipeline CRM
- Contact details and project address carried across, no re-typing
- Job created in JobTread automatically when you mark the deal won
- Deal updated in Pipeline CRM as the job status changes in JobTread
- Connection monitored and maintained for you
0 minutes · no duplicate customers · deal stages that match the job

What you’ll need to get started
If you’re already running your business in JobTread, you have everything below. Here’s how the responsibility splits between you and the Pipeline CRM team during onboarding.
You provide
- A JobTread account with API access, from which you generate a grant key
- A JobTread API grant key, which you generate from your JobTread account’s grant-management page
- A Pipeline CRM account where the leads and deals live
- ~15 minutes to submit details through the secure signup form
We handle
- The API connection using your grant key, kept live as part of the managed service. If your key is ever regenerated or revoked, we help you reconnect
- Webhook subscriptions with JobTread so job-status changes flow back to your deals as they happen
- Field-mapping configuration, the defaults below plus any custom fields you use
- End-to-end testing with live test records before we flip the integration on
- Ongoing monitoring and maintenance, with fixes if JobTread changes anything on their side
You close the sale. The handoff runs itself
Your team works the deal in Pipeline CRM exactly as they do today. Everything after the win, spinning the customer up in JobTread and keeping the deal in step with production, is work your team no longer does.
Action
You mark a deal won in Pipeline CRM
That’s it. Nothing to export, nothing to re-key into JobTread.
Here is exactly what moves, field by field, and in which direction. Most data flows from Pipeline CRM into JobTread as you work the deal; JobTread sends job-status changes back to keep the deal current. This is a defined handoff, not a full two-way mirror. Field mapping is set up by the Pipeline CRM team during your 5-business-day onboarding; the defaults below cover the typical JobTread shop, and the exact trigger set and any custom mappings are scoped with you before the build.
| Field or event | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| person.name | Pipeline CRM → JobTread client | Sent as a new JobTread client when a lead is added; split into first and last name per JobTread’s contact model |
| person.email | Pipeline CRM → JobTread client | Match key. An existing JobTread client with the same email is reused, not duplicated. |
| person.phone | Pipeline CRM → JobTread client | When present on the Pipeline CRM record |
| person.companyName | Pipeline CRM → JobTread client | When set. Left blank for homeowner leads without a company. |
| deal.address | Pipeline CRM → JobTread job | The project or service address is carried onto the JobTread job |
| deal (marked won) | Pipeline CRM → JobTread job | Winning the deal creates a JobTread job named from the deal, linked to the client |
| job.status | JobTread → Pipeline CRM deal | JobTread’s job-status webhook updates the linked deal as the job moves through production |
| (generated) | set on Pipeline CRM deal | Source reads “JobTread” for clean source-of-deal attribution |
Two-way sync of estimates, budgets, and financials (JobTread is also an estimating platform) is available as a separate custom scope; the standard connection above covers the lead, client, and job handoff.
Who runs JobTread alongside Pipeline CRM
Scenario 1: Remodeler who re-keys every won job into JobTread
The situation: A 25-person remodeling company sells in Pipeline CRM and runs estimating and production in JobTread. Every time a deal is won, the project coordinator re-types the customer into JobTread as a new client and sets up the job before the estimator can touch it. It eats time on every sale, and details get fat-fingered or missed in the copy.
With Pipeline Connect: The client already exists in JobTread, created when the lead was added, and marking the deal won creates the job with the contact and project address already on it. The coordinator’s re-keying step disappears, and production starts the same day the deal closes.
Verdict: If your team re-enters every won customer into JobTread, Pipeline Connect deletes that step for $99/month (billed annually), and the job arrives complete.
Scenario 2: Custom home builder whose sales team can’t see job status
The situation: A custom home builder closes long, high-value deals in Pipeline CRM, then loses sight of them once they hand off to production in JobTread. Sales has no idea whether a job has kicked off, is mid-build, or is wrapping up, so follow-up and change-order conversations happen late and deals sit stale in the pipeline.
With Pipeline Connect: When the job status changes in JobTread, the linked Pipeline CRM deal is updated as it happens, so sales sees production progress right on the deal. No status meetings, no asking the PM, no logging into JobTread.
Verdict: If your closed deals go dark once JobTread takes over, Pipeline Connect keeps the deal in step with the job for $99/month, with nobody relaying updates by hand.
Scenario 3: Specialty contractor replacing a broken Zapier zap
The situation: A specialty contractor wired Pipeline CRM to JobTread through Zapier. The zap silently stops whenever a field changes or a task errors out, and nobody notices until a job is missing in JobTread or a deal never updates. The office admin spends hours re-running failed tasks, on top of the Zapier subscription itself.
With Pipeline Connect: Pipeline CRM’s team builds and runs the connection. Our team monitors the connection and handles fixes, so nobody on your side has to troubleshoot it. Total cost: $99/month with $0 setup fee, and the plan covers up to 5 integrations, not just this one.
Verdict: If you’re paying for Zapier and still losing records when it breaks, Pipeline Connect replaces the zap with a managed connection that someone else is responsible for.

How does the JobTread integration work?
You generate a JobTread API grant key once from your account’s grant-management page and share it through our secure signup form. From then on, the integration runs a defined handoff: when a lead is added in Pipeline CRM, a matching client is created in JobTread (matched on email so an existing client is reused, not duplicated); when you mark the deal won, a JobTread job is created from it and set up for production; and JobTread’s job-status webhook updates the linked Pipeline CRM deal as the work moves. It runs on its own once it’s live; your team keeps working in Pipeline CRM and JobTread exactly as before.
Does data flow both ways?
The standard connection is a defined handoff, not a full two-way mirror. Pipeline CRM creates the client and job in JobTread as you work the deal, and JobTread reports job-status changes back to keep the deal current. Beyond that, two-way sync of estimates, budgets, and financials (JobTread is also an estimating platform) is available as a separate custom scope. Mention it on your sales call and we will spec it with you.
What JobTread access do I need?
You need a JobTread account with API access and a grant key, which you generate yourself from your JobTread account’s grant-management page. There is no partner approval, marketplace review, or per-customer app registration; the grant-key path is self-service. You will also need an active Pipeline CRM subscription (plans start at $25/user/month, billed annually) for the deals and leads to live in.
What happens if a customer already exists in JobTread?
The integration matches on email address before creating anything. If a JobTread client with the same email already exists, that client is reused and the won job is attached to it, instead of a duplicate client being created. Repeat customers therefore keep a single record in JobTread. If a Pipeline CRM lead has no email address on file, we agree on the fallback behavior during scoping so it matches how your team works.
How long does setup take?
Pipeline Connect goes live in 5 business days from the moment you submit your JobTread grant key through our secure signup form. You don’t configure anything yourself. Our team scopes the trigger set with you, connects your JobTread account, subscribes to the webhook events, maps fields, configures matching, and tests end to end with live test records before flipping it on.
Is there a limit on how many businesses can connect JobTread?
No per-app account cap applies. JobTread’s API uses a grant key you generate yourself, with no partner approval and no marketplace review required to connect, so there is no waitlist or batching the way there is with some other construction tools. Each customer connects with their own grant key.
How is this different from connecting JobTread and Pipeline CRM through Zapier?
Zapier puts the setup, maintenance, and debugging on you: you build the zap, you patch it when a field changes, and you usually find out it broke when a job is missing or a deal never updates. Pipeline Connect is fully managed for $99/month. Our team builds the integration against JobTread’s API, maps it specifically to how Pipeline CRM handles leads, deals, and JobTread clients and jobs, monitors it, and fixes it if it breaks. There is no Zapier subscription, no zap to maintain, and no third-party dashboard to log into; one bill from Pipeline CRM covers everything.
