At a Glance

LinkPipeline is a Chrome extension built by AddToCRM that sends LinkedIn profile details to Pipeline CRM. Open a profile, click Add to CRM, and it captures first and last name, job title, company and a verified email address. AddToCRM builds and supports it, and it is their product rather than a Pipeline CRM feature.

What LinkPipeline does

Prospect on LinkedIn, keep the record in the CRM

The extension reads the profile you already have open and posts it to Pipeline CRM, so prospecting does not end with a list of tabs nobody transcribed.

One-click sync from LinkedIn

Fetches and syncs the contact details from a LinkedIn profile: first and last name, job title, company, and a verified email address.

Verified contact information

AddToCRM states that LinkPipeline works with email verification providers so the addresses it captures are valid and deliverable, which is what keeps a bounce rate down.

No copying between tabs

The point of the extension is that nothing is pasted from LinkedIn into the CRM by hand, which is where transcription errors and missed prospects come from.

How your credentials are handled

AddToCRM states that data transfers are encrypted and that your Pipeline CRM credentials are stored locally in the browser rather than on their servers.

Setting it up

How the LinkPipeline extension works

Three steps, all of them in Chrome. AddToCRM documents the current click-path, so follow their page if the screens have moved.

Install the extension

Add the LinkPipeline Chrome extension from AddToCRM and sign in with your Pipeline CRM account.

Open a LinkedIn profile

Visit any LinkedIn profile and click View contact details, the same way you would if you were reading it yourself.

Add to CRM

Click Add to CRM. The profile’s contact details are captured and sent to your Pipeline CRM account.

Setting up the LinkPipeline integration

LinkPipeline is built and maintained by AddToCRM, not by Pipeline CRM and not by LinkedIn. It installs as a Chrome extension and is configured there, using your Pipeline CRM credentials. AddToCRM’s page is the current setup path, and LinkPipeline is their product on their own pricing.
