Who runs Facebook Lead Ads into Pipeline CRM
Scenario 1: Construction company running Facebook ads for residential projects
The situation: A 45-person general contractor runs Facebook Lead Ads for residential remodeling. Their office manager copies 15 to 20 leads per week from Facebook Business Suite into Pipeline CRM by hand. Average response time: 6 to 8 hours. They lose 20 to 30 percent of leads to slow follow-up.
With Pipeline Connect: Leads flow from Facebook into Pipeline CRM within seconds of form submission. A new deal is created automatically with the lead’s name, email, phone, company, and UTM attribution. The assigned rep gets a notification instantly. Response time drops to under 30 minutes.
Verdict: If your team loses leads because they sit in Facebook for hours before someone copies them into the CRM, Pipeline Connect eliminates that gap for $99/month, less than the gross margin on one lost project.
Scenario 2: Manufacturer running multiple Facebook ad campaigns with messy attribution
The situation: A 120-person industrial distributor runs five concurrent Facebook ad campaigns targeting different verticals. Leads land in the CRM via a weekly CSV upload by their marketing coordinator. By the time the CSV lands, the campaign and ad name columns are scrambled or missing, so revenue attribution by campaign is guesswork.
With Pipeline Connect: Every Facebook lead syncs in real time with UTM source, campaign, medium, and term preserved as custom fields on both the person and the deal. The marketing team can finally tie closed deals back to the specific ad set that generated the lead.
Verdict: If you cannot tell which Facebook campaign generated your closed deals, Pipeline Connect makes that attribution automatic for $99/month. No spreadsheets, no manual tagging.
Scenario 3: Switching from a broken Zapier setup
The situation: A 30-person professional services firm uses a Zapier zap to push Facebook leads into Pipeline CRM. The zap broke twice last quarter, and nobody noticed for several days each time. Their Zapier subscription costs around $50/month for just this integration. Debugging takes their ops person 2 to 3 hours each time.
With Pipeline Connect: Pipeline CRM’s team sets up and maintains the integration. We monitor uptime 24/7. If something breaks, our team is alerted automatically and fixes it before you notice. Total cost: $99/month with $0 setup fee.
Verdict: If you’re paying for Zapier and still losing leads when it breaks, Pipeline Connect costs about $50 more per month but includes setup, monitoring, maintenance, and 4 more integrations of your choosing.
Two plans. Flat monthly fee. No setup costs.

How does the Facebook Lead Ads integration work?
When someone submits one of your Facebook Lead forms, our integration pulls the submission from Facebook’s Lead Ads API and creates a new person and deal in Pipeline CRM. The lead’s name, email, phone, and company go on the person record. The deal is named “Facebook Lead: {First Name} {Last Name}” with source “Facebook Lead Ads”. UTM source, campaign, medium, and term flow through as custom fields on both the person and the deal, so your team has full campaign attribution from the first contact. The whole flow happens in seconds, not hours.
How long does setup take?
Pipeline Connect goes live in 5 business days from the moment you submit your Facebook Ads credentials through our secure intake form. You don’t configure anything yourself. Our team handles the full integration setup: connecting your Facebook Ad account, mapping fields, configuring UTM passthrough, deduplication, and end-to-end testing. Most customers see their first Facebook lead syncing within a week of signing up.
What if my Facebook Lead form has custom questions?
Custom Facebook form fields are supported. The default mapping covers the standard fields (full_name, email, phone_number, company_name) plus UTM attribution, but if your form captures additional information (project type, budget range, preferred contact time, etc.), our team will map those to Pipeline CRM custom fields during setup. Just send us a sample form or a screenshot during your sales call and we will spec the mapping before provisioning starts.
Does this work with Instagram Lead Ads too?
Instagram Lead Ads runs on the same Facebook Ads infrastructure but is a separate integration in Pipeline Connect. If you want both Facebook and Instagram lead-form submissions to sync into Pipeline CRM, that counts as two integrations toward your plan limit (Pipeline Connect: up to 5; Pipeline Connect Pro: up to 15). The setup process is identical for both. See the Instagram Lead Ads integration.
Will UTM tracking carry through to Pipeline CRM?
Yes. Pipeline Connect’s Facebook Lead Ads integration is built for campaign attribution. UTM source, UTM campaign, UTM medium, and UTM term are captured on both the person and the deal as custom fields. If your form submission is missing a UTM parameter, we fall back to the next-best Facebook field: campaign_name for utm_source, ad_name for utm_campaign, adset_name for utm_medium, and form_name for utm_term. This means even if your ad team forgets to set UTMs, you still get useful attribution data.
How is this different from Zapier’s Facebook Lead Ads zap?
Zapier puts the setup, maintenance, and debugging burden on you. You build the zap, you patch field changes, and you find out it’s broken from your sales reps. Pipeline Connect is fully managed for $99/month. Our team builds the integration to a tested template, monitors it 24/7, and fixes it if it breaks. There is no Zapier subscription, no zap to maintain, and no third-party dashboard to log into. One bill from Pipeline CRM covers everything. If you already have a developer on your team and prefer to build with our public API, that path is available too. Pipeline Connect is for teams that would rather not spend dev time on integration work.
Is my Facebook ad data secure?
Yes. Your Facebook Ads credentials are submitted through a secure intake form and stored with industry-standard secrets management. The integration runs on isolated infrastructure per customer. Lead data flows directly from Facebook into your Pipeline CRM account with no third-party data warehouse in between. Pipeline CRM’s team follows security best practices for credential handling. If you want to rotate your credentials at any time, contact support through Pipeline CRM live chat and we will redeploy the integration with the new credentials.
